Mendon May Day— 1929
Mendon’s May Day— Mendon has since pioneer days been famous for its May Day festivals, this year’s celebration was given yesterday under auspices of the Sunday school, held in the ward recreation hall, commencing at ten o’clock. Miss Cleo Richards was crowned Queen O’ The May, a maypole dance was given and a nice program given in connection. A children’s dance was given in the afternoon, also outdoor athletic contests and a baseball game. A ball was given in the evening, during which MIA dance contest winners of the Hyrum stake gave an exhibition.
