Mendon Relief Society Leaders
Taken in the front of the old red brick school house, the peak of the yellow brick 1914 church and the 1935 school can be seen in the background of this photograph. The Mendon Relief Society used the old 1899 school for much of their activites and such after the new school opened and the building became vacant. Prior to this they used the old 1864 rock church. The 1914 yellow brick church was not very user friendly, so other buildings were used for many things. This photo has no date, but I place it about 1940
