Robert Sweeten Home
The Robert Sweeten rock home, was located about where the children's play house is at 55 East 200 North, Mendon, Utah. Robert was a pioneer of 1847 and for many years was known as the oldest living member of that group, as well as an original pioneer of Mendon. The family had close ties to the Wood's, who were their neighbors to the north. This house of course is no longer standing, it was taken down in 1936. Robert Sweeten and his wife Amanda Hagle, are buried in Lot 034 of the Mendon Cemetery.
